About Czhilispiel

  • Estimated Attendance: 5,000+
  • Czhilispiel is a very well-known, hometown festival, drawing on 53 consecutive years of Czech and German heritage, tradition and community
  • Continual musical entertainment, CASI and IBCA sanctioned Czhili and BBQ cook offs, car show, very popular parade and numerous other legacy events draw consistent attendance
  • Captive audience within fenced grounds and limited external food options
  • Prime location and foot traffic on central drag of the festival, flanking the largest outdoor biergarten in Texas

ALL VENDOR SPACES WILL BE ASSIGNED MORNING OF FRIDAY, OCT 24TH.

APPLICATION DEADLINES:
ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 5PM ON OCTOBER 15TH, 2025.
ALL APPLICATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO FINAL APPROVAL BY THE EVENT DIRECTOR AND/OR CZHILISPIEL BOARD.

Schedule

Festival Hours of Operation:
FRIDAY, OCT. 24TH———6PM TO MIDNIGHT
SATURDAY, OCT. 25TH———10AM TO MIDNIGHT
SUNDAY, OCT. 26TH———10AM TO 10PM

Set Up Times:
Friday, Oct. 24th - Food concessions may begin setting up after 9am, on the westbound lanes of Highway 90 in location designated by Czhilispiel.
**All vehicles must be unloaded and off the grounds by 4pm Friday** 

Festival Opening Times:
Gates will be open to the public at 6pm on Friday, 8:00 am on Saturday and 10:00 am on Sunday.

Tear Down Times:
Sunday, Oct. 26th - No vehicles allowed in for teardown until AFTER 10pm
If tearing down before 10pm, goods must be carried out by hand - NO EXCEPTIONS.  A limited number of vehicles may be allowed in only with a Czhilispiel representative’s discretion.

Food Vendor Application Type

  • **NO HAMBURGERS**
    Token based sales, no cash transactions permitted. 15% of gross proceeds retained by Czhilispiel. 110v and 220v electrical options are available below.

  • **NO BEER**
    Token based sales, no cash transactions permitted. 25% of gross proceeds retained by Czhilispiel. 110v and 220v electrical options are available below.

  • Token based sales, no cash transactions permitted. 10% of gross proceeds retained by Czhilispiel. 110v and 220v electrical options are available below.

I acknowledge: Hamburgers, Canned Soda, Bottled Water and Powerade items are not allowed for sale, given out for free or included with any other purchased items. These are an exclusive item for a local non-profit organization.
